Bodies of Cottoy, Browne & Jefferson still to be released by state
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - The bodies of Dexter Cottoy aka ‘Deckie’ and Calbert Browne aka ‘Buju’ who lost their lives in a tragic automobile accident on the sister island of Virgin Gorda on November 28, 2016 and the young man Estavan Jefferson, who was shot to death at the Stickett in Long Look, Tortola on November 17, 2016 are still being held by the state.
Nyron F. Ollivierre’s mom, sister call for swifter Police action
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – “Let us have some sort of closure please, tell us something. Let his grieving mother at least get a chance to see her son, some sort of closure is what we need. Let us bury him while you continue investigations. One week gone and you telling us you not sure when the postmortem will be, no no, no. We need closure,” said an immediate family member of murdered Trinidadian Nyron F. Ollivierre also known as 'Tin Tin'.
UPDATE - BVIHSA accepts blame for disposing of baby’s body
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – The BVI Health Services Authority (BVIHSA) has taken the responsibility for accidentally removing an infant’s body from the hospital’s morgue and cremating it.
