VI Inquiries Bill is a 'big stick' overreach by the UK- Deputy Speaker Hon Mather
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI—Deputy Speaker Honourable Stacy R. Mather, MBE (AL), while debating the Virgin Islands Inquiries Bill 2024 on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, during the 15th Sitting of the First Session of the Fifth House of Assembly (HoA), attributed the current situation of governance in the territory to the failures of previous governors.

Former teacher starts petition for mandatory swim classes in VI schools
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - Executive Director of the Youth Empowerment Programme (YEP), a former school teacher, Mr Stacy R. Mather, CMG, has launched a campaign with the aim of getting the masses to sign a petition that forces the Virgin Islands government to mandate swimming classes in the curriculum of schools across the territory.
