Skelton-Cline calls for Independence Referendum @ 2027 Elections
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI— The question of independence for the Virgin Islands (VI) must be put to the people in a national referendum at the next general elections in 2027, former government consultant Pastor Claude O. Skelton-Cline said on his radio programme Honestly Speaking on ZBVI 780 AM on April 15, 2025.

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Polling Stations in the Virgin Islands will be open from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM on elections day today, Monday, April 24, 2023, to allow the people of the territory to elect the government of their choice for the next four years.

FREDERIKSTED, St Croix, USVI- On the ballot this year was a question asking [US] Virgin Islanders whether they would support legislation that would authorise a constitutional convention to adopt the Revised Organic Act of the Virgin Islands, 68 Stat. 497, or portions of it as a Constitution for the Virgin Islands.
