NDP Gov’t spent $10.3M to lengthen airport runway; Where did the $$ go?
BAUGHERS BAY, Tortola, VI- It has been revealed that the National Democratic Party (NDP) Government actually spent about $10.3 million in what was supposed to be an attempt at lengthening the runway at Terrence B. Lettsome International Airport; however, the runway was never extended.

BAUGHERS BAY, Tortola, VI- The Government of the Virgin Islands led by Premier and Minister of Finance Dr the Hon Natalio D. Wheatley (R7) has committed to extending the runway at Terrance B. Lettsome International Airport; however, how it will be done is not a decision written in stone as yet.

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Despite American Airlines (AA) announcing uninterrupted service to the [British] Virgin Islands, including through August to October, Minister for Communications and Works Hon Kye M. Rymer (R5) has made it clear that extending the runway at Terrance B. Lettsome International Airport is still a matter of urgency.

TRELLIS BAY, Beef Island, VI- Tasked with extending the airport runway on Beef Island, Minister for Communications and Works Hon Kye M. Rymer (R5) has been making initial moves to achieve this mandate publicly given to him by Premier and Minister of Finance Dr the Honourable Natalio D. Wheatley (R7) back in June 2023.
VG airport runway to be rehabilitated
