After 11 years out Lizette O. George returns to Trade Department
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Ms Lizette O. George left her post in 2012 as Director of Trade and Consumer Affairs to do a stint at the BVI London Office. Once she left, the post was filled first by Kevin C. Smith aka ‘OJ’.

Smith (AL), OBE, has indicated that ahead of the start of the Fifth House of Assembly, work has already begun in areas such as the Trade Commission and work permit processing in the VI.
'No new trade fees until we are back to normal'- Hon Flax Charles
BAUGHERS BAY, Tortola, VI- Junior Minister for Trade and Economic Development Honourable Shereen D. Flax Charles (AL) said the Andrew A. Fahie-led Government of the Virgin Islands does not want to add any pressure to businesses during this global pandemic and will not be introducing any new fees until the territory is back to normal.
