VI Gov’t launching website to track CoI recommendations implementation
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- The Government of the [British] Virgin Islands has said it is forging ahead with efforts to enhance the delivery of services to the people of the Virgin Islands, with the launch of a dedicated website to track the implementation of the Commission of Inquiry (COI) recommendations.
Some CoI implementation deadlines 'unrealistic'- DaBreo-Lettsome
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI– While legislators, including the Premier, have gone on record blasting the short deadline given for implementation of the Commission of Inquiry (CoI) Recommendations made by a one-man-Commissioner from the United Kingdom (UK), a senior public officer has also publicly admitted that the deadlines given by the UK for implementation or risk direct rule were "unrealistic".

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – Despite some criticisms from Governor John J. Rankin, CMG over the progress of implementation of reforms recommended in the Commission of Inquiry (CoI) Report, Permanent Secretary in the Premier’s office, Mrs Carolyn E. Stoutt-Igwe has revealed that work has begun on some 47 of the total recommendations, which represents 94% of the recommendations completed or in progress.

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- The National Unity Government of the Virgin Islands, which has accepted all of the recommendations of the Commission of Inquiry Report (CoI) to try to stave off direct rule by the United Kingdom (UK), has established a unit to support the delivery of the CoI Report recommendations and ongoing government reform.
