From 2005, a single statistic tells a sad tale. We have lost over 80 young men to gun violence. Moreover, as a society we fail to understand the true consequences of such a tragedy.

VI Parliament passes tough Gun Bill
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – As the House of Assembly passed tough legislation aimed at combating gun crimes, Territorial Member of the House of Assembly Honourable Archibald C. Christian said that such crimes have risen and therefore tougher sentences are necessary to address them.

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Premier Dr. D. Orlando Smith says Government is extremely concerned about the amount of illegal weapons in the Territory and noted that while there seems to be a difficulty in stemming the flow, systems must be put in place to address the problem.
