USVI: Teacher struck by student, another followed home

CHARLOTTE AMALIE, St Thomas, USVI- Following a teacher job action at the Lockhart K-8 School on Wednesday, March 13, 2024, which resulted in the early release of students from grades 4 to 8, the [[US] VI Department of Education has issued a statement addressing the recent disturbances. The job action is attributed to teachers expressing concerns over working conditions and disciplinary issues with students.
