USVI: Calvert White sentenced to 5 years in federal prison

FREDERIKSTED, St Croix, USVI- Former Department of Sports, Parks and Recreation Commissioner Calvert White was sentenced Thursday, January 22, 2025, to 60 months (five years) in federal prison, followed by 36 months (three years) of supervised release, after being convicted of honest services wire fraud and bribery concerning programs receiving federal funds.

MIAMI, Florida, USA- Kadeem S. Maynard, the son of former BVI Ports Authority Managing Director Oleanvine Pickering-Maynard, was sentenced in a Miami court to 57 months in jail on Monday, November 20, 2023, for his role in a scheme to traffic cocaine from Colombia through the [British] Virgin Islands to the US mainland.

FREDERIKSTED, St Croix, USVI— US Attorney for the [US] Virgin Islands Delia Smith on Thursday, November 9, 2023, announced that 33-year-old Princeton Jameson of St Croix has been sentenced to 38 months in prison. Attorney Smith confirmed that the sentence was handed down by Judge Wilma A. Lewis following Jameson's guilty plea for possession of a machine gun.
