POCKWOOD POND, Tortola, VI- With the Virgin Islands experiencing hot days and nights, it did not make it any comfortable for residents when power went out for some time in certain areas across the territory on Sunday, June 4, 2023.

POCKWOOD POND, Tortola, VI- The BVI Electricity Corporation (BVIEC) has said it is investigating the cause of the island-wide power outage that occurred on Saturday morning, May 6, 2023.

POCKWOOD POND, Tortola, VI- The islands of Tortola, Jost van Dyke and Virgin Gorda have suffered power outage due to a system shutdown at the Pockwood Pond power plant today, March 20, 2017.

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Sometime around 1:00 A.M. on June 27, 2016 there was an island wide power outage that the BVI Electricity Corporation (BVIEC) is now investigating.
