ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- The practice by Government of giving private individuals and companies petty contracts and purchase orders to cut bush and trees along the main and secondary roads mainly on Tortola, Virgin Gorda, Anegada and Jost Van Dyke is continuing by the ruling National Democratic Party (NDP) Government even though during the 2011 general elections they were the biggest critics of the programme started by the now Opposition Virgin Islands Party.

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- With the hope of avoiding a last minute rush or a large crowd build-up once the analog converters are switched off in March 2013, BVI Cable TV has been facilitating extending opening hours on weekdays and even opening on Saturdays to allow persons to complete the switch over process in a timely manner. It seems, however, “the last minute culture” is having its usual impact.
