Hundreds turned out for colourful Rise & Shine Tramp
VALLEY, Virgin Gorda, VI- If one had expected to attend the Virgin Gorda Easter Festival Rise and Shine Tramp on April 17, 2017 and return home looking all neat and clean, they had to think again.

EAST END, Tortola, VI – While some saw it as another few hours of fun and frolic, many families expressed disappointment in at what was to be the East End Parade for the festival activities on that side of the island of Tortola.

Maduro feels strongly that a more concerted attention should be paid to the annual Virgin Islands Emancipation Festival celebrations.

Vanterpool (R4) has lamented that the celebrations may have shifted from church and family related activities to more of revelry.
