Cabinet approves 54 for Belonger status
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- 54 expatriates were approved for Belonger status when the Cabinet of the [British] Virgin Islands met on June 19, 2024, at the Premier's Conference Room in Cutlass Tower in Road Town.
Cabinet accepts granting of Certificates of Residence to 146 persons
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Some 146 persons are set to be granted Certificates of Residence while 39 have been approved for 4th Generation Belonger Status in the [British] Virgin Islands.

For years, here in The Virgin Islands, there is a continuous conversation by so many people in regards to children being born in this Territory by expatriate parents and about the length of time that so many expatriates have been here and cannot get Belongers Status.
