UVI to increase Tuition by 14%; Meal Plans by 26%

FREDERIKSTED, St Croix, USVI- The University of the Virgin Islands Board of Trustees has approved increases to tuition and fees for students, which are expected to start taking effect this fall. The decision was taken during the board’s quarterly meeting on Saturday, March 4, 2023, as the university faces chronically low enrollment and inflationary pressures.

GOLDEN GROVE, St Croix, USVI- The University of the Virgin Islands (UVI) in a statement provided to the Consortium Tuesday afternoon, April 20, 2021, said it was "deeply disturbed" by an allegation of sexual assault that is said to have occurred in one of the institution's dorm rooms on the Albert A. Sheen Campus on St Croix, US Virgin Islands (USVI) during the wee hours of Tuesday morning.
