Walwyn (AL) is not shouldering all the blame for the continuing issues of long waits for festival vendors to be paid, as he has told reporters that Premier and Minister of Finance, Dr The Honourable D. Orlando Smith (AL) and his other ministers of Government are the ones to be blamed.

Local entertainers still not paid for Festival 2015

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – Almost half a year since they performed at Festival 2015, local bands who graced the stages of the various Festivilles have yet to receive all of their monies from Government. According to reports some have been paid for performances outside of Road Town while others have not received a dime.
