Labour Minister calls for fairness as group of locals made redundant
DUFF’S BOTTOM, Tortola, VI- Noting that it was recently brought to his attention that a company who may be on the verge of merging with another had made redundant a group of VIslander/Belonger employees, Minister for Natural Resources, Labour and Immigration, Honourable Vincent O. Wheatley (R9) has urged employers to be transparent, fair and reasonable when initiating any redundancy procedures.
