Children ‘born here’ not of VI parents must be embraced- Hon Walwyn
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – At the launch of the National Democratic Party (NDP) At-Large candidates for the national elections of the Virgin Islands (VI) set for June 8, 2015, emotions ran high in support of a call made by Honourable Myron V. Walwyn for the Third House of Assembly to seriously consider the boiling issue of children ‘born here’ of parents not from the Virgin Islands.

The Immigration Department must ensure that residents deemed guests do not cut the umbilical cord with their home countries. Guests will be required to return to their home countries after specific intervals, and finally at the end of their guest term.
