2016 Budget still not passed amidst increased hardship for those owed!
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- The National Democratic Party (NDP) has failed to pass a 2016 Budget amidst continued claims by the Opposition, civil society and the media that the country is broke due to the NDP raiding the Treasury to buy and win the 2015 general elections.

Rand Paul Blamed for Blocking FATCA

(ACCOUNTING TODAY)- The research and advocacy organization Global Financial Integrity is urging Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., to allow the Senate to vote on agreements negotiated by the Treasury Department with Switzerland, Luxembourg, Hungary and other countries to implement the Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act, or FATCA, in an effort to ferret out tax evaders.
