USVI: Arrest made in 2023 St John Jewelry Store shooting & robbery

CRUZ BAY, St John, USVI — A man has been arrested in connection with a robbery and attempted murder at a local jewelry store, according to the [US] Virgin Islands Police Department (VIPD). The incident, which took place on Thursday, May 18, 2023, around 2:00 PM, occurred at St John Bracelet in Cruz Bay, where the store owner was shot in the face.
CBP seizes counterfeit luxury goods valued over $1.2M in San Juan

SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico- The US Customs and Border Protection officers in the San Juan Field Office have successfully intercepted and seized three shipments containing counterfeit luxury brand merchandise. The seized items, which included jewelry and sunglasses, have a combined manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) of over $1.2 million, had they been genuine.
