CoI: Hon Penn accuses Gov’t of ‘diversionary tactics’
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Leader of the Opposition, Honourable Marlon A. Penn (R8), under whose National Democratic Party (NDP) there were allegations of major corruption, including the Pier Park overrun and the failed BVI Airways deal, has said he welcomes the Commission of Inquiry (CoI) called by the Governor but in the same breath has slammed the Virgin Islands Party (VIP) Government for not allegedly taking the allegations that set the stage for the CoI seriously.
