50 cases of COVID-19 confirmed in USVI; 43 recoveries so far
CHARLOTTE AMALIE, St. Thomas, USVI - The USVI Department of Health on Thursday revealed that five additional positive coronavirus cases brought the number of people in the territory who have been infected with the disease to 50. The department did not send the alert of new cases through the VITEMA Alert system.

Public Information Officer Glen Dratte confirmed the incident, and said the shooting occurred at roughly 10:00 a.m, today Saturday, August 24, 2019.
