Traffic interrupted due to flash flooding at Johnson’s Ghut
PURCELL, Tortola, VI- Heavy rains yesterday afternoon, May 11, 2013 made traffic inaccessible in the Johnson’s Ghut area for more than an hour due to flash flooding that resulted.
Quick response to clear RT ghut following overflow & flooding
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI [3:37 p.m.] – Due to heavy rains last evening, the ghut on Fishlock road overflow affecting residents in the Crab Lot and Scatliffe Alley but quick response by officials resulted in a coordinated effort to quickly clear the ghut early this morning December 10, 2011.
