FCCA commits to returning cruise ships to VI for longer stays
FLORIDA, USA – President of the Florida Caribbean Cruise Association (FCCA) Ms Michelle Paige following a meeting with Premier Andrew A. Fahie (R1) has committed to having the Virgin Islands (VI) be one of the first recipients of cruise ships in the region.

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – Virgin Islands (VI) Premier and Minister of Finance, Hon Andrew A. Fahie (R1) says with about 7 cruise calls expected in June 2021 when the territory re-opens, businesses and others in the Virgin Islands who are fully vaccinated (VI) will reap the most benefits.
Cruise ships requesting vaccinated taxi drivers, businesses - Premier
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – Premier and Minister of Finance, Hon Andrew A. Fahie (R1) has indicated that the cruise ships coming to the territory in June 2021, will be coming with fully vaccinated passengers and crews and, as such, will only be supporting businesses and taxi drivers that are vaccinated.

FREDERIKSTED, St Croix, USVI- With the COVID-19 pandemic showing no signs of slowing, the number of cruise liners and cargo ships appearing at sites to be scrapped in the recycling market this year has grown. The growth is owing to cruise liners' and cargo ship operators' need to turn grounded vessels into cash.

WASHINGTON DC, USA- Cruise ships will be free to set sail again early November if they so choose, following a White House order that scrapped a Centers for Disease Control and Prevention plan to extend the no-sail order to mid-February 2021.
