Dep. Premier remains in conflict of interest – Commentator
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – While he considers Deputy Premier Dr The Hon. Kedrick D. Pickering to be an honourable and well intentioned person, commentator Natalio Wheatley aka Sowande Uhuru said he disagrees with the legislator’s view that there is no conflict of interest with Dr Pickering’s involvement in the BVI Investment Club as expressed in the House of Assembly on July 26, 2013.
Hon. Fraser raises concerns over Bishop Cline’s appointment
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- As firstly and accurately reported by Virgin Islands News Online that the ruling National Democratic Party (NDP) at a cabinet meeting on January 19, 2012 had approved Bishop John I. Cline to become the new Chairman of the BVI Health Services Authority Board, final approval was granted in the House of Assembly yesterday February 14, 2012 for his appointment although it was not without concerns from the opposition.
