UK Gov’t has no plans to impose direct rule on VI- Gov Duncan
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Suggesting that senior politicians who have been publicly stating that the United Kingdom Government wants to impose direct rule on the Virgin Islands have not been informed enough, Governor John S. Duncan OBE has dismissed those claims.
Hon Vanterpool accused of scaremongering
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Minister for Communications and Works and Fourth District Representative, Hon Mark H. Vanterpool, who used the platform at the opening of Virgin Islands Emancipation Festival on July 25, 2016 to tell the people that the British Government is coming to impose direct rule, has been accused of scaremongering by radio talk show host Mr Doug Wheatley.
