ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - Former Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) and United Kingdom (UK) national, Kim Hollis QC has revealed that the current jury selection process in the Virgin Islands (VI) has a fundamental flaw that excludes a large category of residents from becoming jurors in the VI's court system.

Civil Service increments not automatic; expatriate hiring up in service
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- While civil servants continue to complain of being a year or two behind with government paying them their promised increments, the Director of the Government’s Human Resources Department Mrs Michelle Donovan-Stevens told the House of Assembly’s Standing Finance Committee that these payments “are not automatic.”
