ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – As the territory experienced heavy rainfall earlier today April 30, 2016, the Department of Disaster Management is continuing to encourage the general public to exercise caution as the weather is expected to be unstable.

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- The Department for Disaster Management is predicting more rain and thunderstorms for the Virgin Islands throughout today, November 3, 2013.
First Tropical Storm formed in the Atlantic
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- TS Alberto is located about 120 miles Southeast of South Carolina. Alberto has begun to acquire more tropical characteristics as showers and thunderstorms have increased near the circulation center and will continue to move slowly Southward or Westward over the next day or so. This system has a 50 percent of becoming a hurricane during the next 48 hours.
