LONG TRENCH, Tortola, VI - Police in an update this morning, January 1, 2024, have confirmed a shooting incident in the Virgin Islands (VI) just as the new year 2024 broke that has reportedly left one injured.

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- The man who was gunned down in a parking lot along DeCastro Street this morning, November 6, 2023, has been identified as 25-year-old Julio Rivera, a resident of Purcell Estate.

UPDATE: Prison officer injured in shooting identified as Isha Martin
EAST END, Tortola, VI- The female prison officer shot this morning, October 9, 2023, while transporting a female inmate to High Court has been identified as Isha Martin, who is originally from St Vincent and the Grenadines. She was shot in her leg and, according to hospital officials, her injuries are not life threatening.
