The US Foreign Accounts Tax Compliance Act is scaring tax havens around the world, and rightly so. For all practical purposes, the illicit tax haven sector is closed to the vast majority of US business now. But not to be outdone places like the British Virgin Islands are seeking business elsewhere.

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – In retrospect, charter members of the Rotary club of Tortola discovered that one of their biggest debated challenges was whether or not women should have been allowed to join the club. The affirmative would prevail, however, and Ms. Delma Maduro became the first woman to serve in the capacity of president.
