Ex-fire officer arrested on suspicion of rape

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Information reaching our newsroom indicates that an ex-fire officer has been arrested on suspicion of rape.

The arrest of the accused, who reportedly worked with the BVI Airports Authority (BVIAA) as a fire officer, was reportedly made yesterday, June 9, 2021.

And in a twist to the matter, the said accused is reportedly alleging that a female friend of his stole some $1,800.00 while at his home.

It is unclear if it is the same individual who filed the rape report.

    Literally NO WHERE speaks about prostitution and y’all talking about it.
    Do you know what happened? This is why we have predators walking the street, no one wants to speaker up because they will get bashed like what y’all are doing to the young lady.
    I’m sure there’s evidence otherwise he wouldn’t be arrested. Nobody knows, especially since it was posted on VINO, wait till the actual news sites post something and stop bashing her while she’s going through such a tough time.

      has it ever once cross your mind that young lady is lying? i heard some money scandal involve also. im not saying that she is lying but its just a thought. you quick to jump to her defense like you were there. what if it turned lut that the guy is actually the victim? yes alot of predators may be walking the streets but their are alot of females out there that cries wolf too. only people actually knows the truth is him, her, god and the devil. for all we know she give it to him willingly and felt bad after and crying rape. just a thought.

    Yet there is a serving police officer here who has allegedly molested a minor and the top brass within the police force and DPP is trying to keep it under hush hush because it is alleged he is a witness in a top case against other officers.

    Stop being so one sided!!! Be quick to arrest everyone. The child should not have to suffer for this. Justice delayed Justice Denied
