Ballast Bay man charged for 8 counts of Indecent Assault

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- A 27-year-old man of Ballast Bay was recently remanded to prison for Indecent Assault.

Jevaughn Nibbs was arrested and charged on March 24, 2022, with eight counts of Indecent Assault.

He appeared before Magistrate’s Court and was remanded to Her Majesty’s Prison, the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) stated in its Arrest Blotter for the period March 20-April 2, 2022.

Albert Hatchett remanded for Attempted Murder, firearm offences

Albert Hatchett, 25, of Diamond Estate, was arrested and charged on March 21, 2022, with Attempted Murder, Unlawful Possession of Ammunition, and Carrying a Firearm without a License.

He appeared before Magistrate’s Court and was remanded to Her Majesty’s Prison.

ASSAULT OCCASIONING ACTUAL BODILY HARM

On 20-03-2022 at 1919hrs, Police arrested and charged Kamal Harrigan, 23, of Long Bush for Assault Occasioning Actual Bodily Harm and Armed with Offensive Weapon. Harrigan was granted bail in the sum of $5,000 with a signed surety for his appearance at the Magistrate’s Court on 21-04-2022. 

OBSTRUCTING A POLICE OFFICER

On 23-03-2022 at 0750hrs, Police arrested and charged Deandre Donovan of Carrot Bay for Failing to Comply with a Request from an Officer and Obstructing a Police Officer. He appeared before Magistrate’s Court and was granted bail in the sum $30,000 to reappear on 31-05-2022.

INDECENT ASSAULT

On 24-03-2022 at 1000hrs, Police arrested and charged Jevaughn Nibbs, 27, of Ballast Bay for eight counts of Indecent Assault.  He appeared before Magistrate’s Court and was remanded to Her Majesty’s Prison.

HANDLING STOLEN GOODS

On 26-03-2022 at 1700hrs, Police arrested and charged Alisia Browne, 46, of Hodges Creek for Handling Stolen Goods. She was granted bail in the sum of $3,000 in her own recognizance to appear before Magistrate’s Court on 13-05-2022. 

ARSON

On 28-03-2022 at 1327hrs, Police arrested and charged Tavonney Robinson, 25, of Carrot Bay for Arson.  

UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF A CONTROL DRUG

  1. On 29-03-2022 at 1123hrs, Police arrested and charged Kadeem Frett, 27, of Long Look for Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Drug.  He granted bail in his own recognizance in the sum of $3000.00 and is to appear at the Magistrates Court at 09:00hrs on Thursday 12/05/2022.

  2. On 29-03-2022 at 1123hrs, Police arrested and charged D’moi Allen, 24, of Long Look for Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Drug. He granted bail in his own recognizance in the sum of $3000.00 and is to appear at the Magistrates Court at 09:00hrs on Thursday 12-05-2022.

      You mean after he's tried and if found guilty. Anyone can be accused of crime. Let the process play out before judgement.

    Post pictures and expose their behinds. Put in place a data bank where these pedos and sex offenders have to register as sexual offenders. Sick of these dirty nasty men in Tortola taking advantage of girls and boys. Is this some type of sickness with some of these men here?
