Bad Bunny’s performance at the Super Bowl in February 2026 was a rendition to both the global south and the Americas.

His theme 'the only thing greater than hate is love' struck a chord in the hearts of millions of viewers of the Bad Bunny Online Streams and the Super Bowl. It was also a middle finger to the White Supremacist Make America Great Again movement.

The performance in Spanish angered the President of the USA, Donald Trump and a number of right-wing white supremacist types who saw the performance as a threat to their white supremacist, racist culture. One well-known 'Karen’, Megan Kelly, went ballistic in a podcast with British TV Personality Piers Morgan.

Bad Bunny’s exertions at the Super bowl was both a cultural and political revolution. It portrayed a truth white USA finds hard to swallow: the culture of the Americas is browning: it is a cocktail of white, beige, and black. Bunny’s assertion of ICE out was a slap in the face of Donald Trump’s aggressive migration policies that even many whites are finding repulsive.

WOKE is dead. In its place is the rise of a new and more rational culture that offers a better reality of what America has become. Even oligarchs and white supremacists that have hijacked US institutions cannot stop the browning of America.

Black American and Latina culture that evolved from the sufferings of the trans-Atlantic Slave trade and the genocide of native peoples by white European colonists is alive and well. It is becoming more powerful: a growing beast not contained.

The rendition of flags, at the Super Bowl, including the flag of the Virgin Islands, was more truth than a foolish rendition to the Monroe Doctrine of the early 1800s by MAGA: a resurgent doctrine that is murdering Caribbean nationals.

The Americas are not going back to the slave plantation era and Jim Crow as MAGA dreams. Additionally, the performance was a rendition to a rising global south, the old imperial cultures of the north and west cannot ignore, as power shifts to the east and south.

Art is a crucible of emotion and exertion that holds the present history, narrative, and culture in place. Bad Bunny’s triumph at the Super Bowl did just that.
