Arrest Blotter- Jan. 13 to Jan. 19, 2013

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Below is the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) Arrest Blotter for January 13 to January 19, 2013.

THEFT

  1. On 12-01-2013 at 7:15 P.M., Police arrested and charged a 17-year-old male of Baugher's Bay for Theft.

  2. On 14-01-2013 at 7:20 P.M., Police arrested and charged 21-year-old Roseanne Young, native of St. Vincent and resident of The Valley, Virgin Gorda for the offence of Theft.

  3. On 16-01-2013 at 9 P.M., Police arrested and charged a 15-year-old male of Horse Path for Theft.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE

On 16-01-2013 at 4: 50 P.M., Police arrested and charged 40-year-old Vern Wharton of Greenland for Criminal Damage.

COMMON ASSAULT

  1. On 16-01-2013 at 10 A.M, Police arrested and charged Ganesh Suruj Balley for the offences of Destroying Property and Common Assault. Balley was granted police bail in the sum of $10,000 signed with one surety for his appearance at the Virgin Gorda Magistrate’s Court on 11-02-2013 at 1000hrs.

  2. On 18-01-2013 at 2:50 P.M., Police arrested and charged Johnathan Turnbull for the Common Assault, Breaching Protection Order and Possession of a Controlled Drug.

BURGLARY

On 17-01-2013 at 9 A.M., Police arrested and charged 17-year-old male of Mount Healthy for the offence of Burglary. 

UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF CANNABIS

  1. On 17-01-2013 at 10 A.M., Police arrested and charged Korrey Stoutt, 23-years, of Josiah's Bay for the offence of Unlawful Possession of Cannabis. Stoutt has been granted bail in the sum of $10,000 signed by one surety for his appearance in the Magistrate’s Court on 22-02-2013.

  2. On 17-01-2013 at 7:30 P.M., Police arrested and charged a 17-year-old male, of Carrot Bay for the offence of Unlawful Possession of Cannabis.

  3. On 18-01-2013 at 8:30 P.M., Police arrested and charged Jahsheed Scatliffe, 24 years, for Unlawful Possession of Cannabis.

ASSAULT OCCASIONING ACTUAL BODILY HARM

  1. On 18-01-2013 at 9:35 P.M., Police arrested and charged Kimball Pickering, 34, of Belmont Park for the offences of (1) Destroying Property and (2) Assault Causing Actual Bodily Harm.

  2. On 18-01-2013 at 11: A.M., Police arrested and charged Caeson Hodge of Purcell Estate for the offence of Assault Occasioning Actual Bodily.

CULTIVATION OF CANNABIS

On 18-01-2013 at 3:45 P.M., Police arrested and charged Rodney Smith, 41, for Cultivation of Cannabis.
