Airport on VG to reopen Friday, August 7

VALLEY, Virgin Gorda, VI- The BVI Airports Authority (the Authority) wishes to advise the travelling public that the Virgin Gorda International Airport will reopen at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, August 7, 2026 following a brief operational closure.
The Authority's team is currently completing the necessary preparations to facilitate the safe resumption of operations.
Passengers with confirmed flights during the period of closure are asked to contact their respective airlines directly for further information.
The Authority sincerely apologises for any inconvenience caused and thanks the public for their patience and understanding as it seeks to uphold its motto, Safety is our #1 Priority.
