CHARLOTTE AMALIE, St Thomas, USVI- The number of reported deaths related to the coronavirus in the US Virgin Islands (USVI) climbed to 90 on Tuesday, January 11, 2022, following an announcement from the [US] Virgin Islands Department of Health (DoH).

"After further investigating cause of death and ensuring notification of next of kin, the Virgin Islands Department of Health is saddened to confirm the territory’s ninetieth death related to Covid-19.

The deceased is an 84-year-old female on St Thomas," DoH made known.

Elsewhere, the department issued a release explaining to the community Covid-19 testing recommendations, isolation and quarantine procedures.
