ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Lingering weak instability in the atmosphere across the area, along with a light southerly wind flow, daytime heating and available low-level moisture could trigger localised shower activity over and around the islands occasionally today, September 6, 2022.

This is according to the Department of Disaster Management (DDM).

It said; however, that by tonight, a drier and more stable atmosphere will move into the area and restrict any meaningful shower activity.

Weather today: Partly cloudy to cloudy skies initially with a 60 percent or moderate chance of morning showers, with gradual improvements thereafter.

Weather tonight: Fair to partly cloudy skies with a 20 percent or slight chance of a brief passing shower.

Winds: South-southwest at 7 to 19 km/h or 5 to 12 mph, becoming lighter and variable at times..

Seas: Less than 5 feet or 1.5 meters.

Sunset today:  6:28 pm.

    The roads are bad no drainage

    It will be raining all week according to the weather report. Yes, we needed rain, but I feel there will be mudslides and more retaining walls toppling down. People need to drive with care and use good sense to not speed.
