ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Pockets of low level moisture propagating from a low-pressure system in the central Atlantic, will continue to be pushed across the area on a moderate to fresh trade wind flow and could lead to a moderate chance for shower activity over and around the islands during the next 24 hours, the Department of Disaster Management (DDM) said today, January 29, 2023.

Weather today: Partly cloudy skies in general, with brief cloudy spells and a 60 percent or moderate chance of brief passing showers.

Weather tonight: Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with a 60 percent or moderate chance of brief passing showers.
Winds: East-northeast at 15 to 31 km/h or 9 to 20 mph, reaching as high as 44 km/h or 28 mph during showers, as well as over open waters and in elevated areas..
Seas: 1.8 to 2.4 meters or 6 to 8 feet. Therefore a small craft advisory remains in effect..

    there is no AGRIGCULTURE here so the water is just running off the land into the sea anyway ,???? so it * might as well * bypass us
