6 new coronavirus cases reported on St Croix
FREDERIKSTED, St Croix, USVI- The US Virgin Islands (USVI) Department of Health (DOH) has reported six additional cases of the coronavirus in the USVI, with St Croix accounting for all the latest infections.
According to the data, all the cases were under investigation as of Tuesday evening, July 7, 2020, meaning the Department of Health was still attempting to determine how the infections were transmitted.
As of Tuesday evening, 3,453 tests were performed, with 3,273 returning negative and 122 positive. Eighty individuals were listed as recovered and there were 58 test results pending.
DOH is now tracking 36 cases.
Six individuals have died from the virus in the US Virgin Islands, including a mother, father and son.
