CANE GARDEN BAY, Tortola, VI- [Post time: 7:50pm] Word reaching our newsroom from senior sources within the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) is that two men were held with large amounts of cash while on a boat at Cane Garden Bay, on the main island of Tortola, today, September 6, 2019.
According to reports, ranks of the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) and other law enforcement officials made the interception sometime between 10:00am and 11:00am.
The vessel the men were on has also been detained.
It is not clear at this time how much money has been seized.
Both men are in police custody and are expected to be charged.
