Base on projections. We should be having 1,120 cases by the end of this week.

I agree. The skyrocketing cases of covid 19 vaccines = the skyrocketing number of active covid cases. Makes sense to me.

1%+ of the VI population … that is a lot! 1.050 will be approximately 3%of the population. 480 is not too far away from 1,050.

If you are not vaccinated you need to continue to take precautions. If you are vaccinated you still need to take precautions. We all need to take the spread of this seriously.

Also just a fyi the "Delta" variant is what they used to call the "UK" variant. So it has been around a while and is most likely already spread widely. So vaccinated/unvaccinated you still need to take precautions.

The discrimination n injustice that's happening in this place with the vaccinated is too real and sickening.
Listen and listen well and you be the judge, in this situation: It happen that some of an establishment workers tested positive for covid. Mind you these positive persons were in contact with all the others workers and big heads (if not directly, indirectly). So, tell me why those big heads in authority couldn't recommend for all to know their covid status. Instead, what they did was simply send home all the unvaccinated workers to isolate and get tested and kept the vaccinated ones working. Imagine that, this is total nonsense, so it may as well have vaccinated workers who are postive for covid serving the public with their special safe. So tell me, all you expect the numbers in the bvi to go down with that type of carelessness? No sir, it seems like the vaccine affecting the leaders brain they can't even use common sense.

The concept and reality results of vaccinated vs unvaccinated is one that too many, such as yourself cannot figure norcomprehend and this is the biggest problem in the VI.
The building blocks we have used to build our country are defective.

The problem is that you and the 50% plus of our population do not have the mental capacity to comprehend and understand vaccinated vs unvaccinated.
Therefore, sit tight and see hear and feel the reasons. You will get it in the end.

THE POINT THAT BRIMESTONE IS SIMPLE MAKING IS ALL THE WORKERS SHOULD BE TESTED, WHETHER VACCINATED OR NOT. THE ISSUE IS THE VACCINATE CAN BE POSITIVE AND BE A CARRIER AND SPREAD THE VIRUS AS WELL. SO AS FAR AS I SEE THEY SHOULDNT ALLOW TO WORK WITHOUT KNOWING IF THEY ARE COVID FREE. A SITUATION LIKE THIS, THE HEALTH AUTHORITY SHOULD LOOK INTO IT.

We asked you people to get vaccinated and you all listened to propaganda , not science and see what happen now .
    • hmmm (06/07/2021, 00:30) Like (25) Dislike (9) Reply
The vaccine wouldn't have stopped this because the vaccine does not prevent inoculation.

That is not propaganda. The vaccine isn't magic. From reading these posts these past few weeks, it seems education has failed most people on multiple levels. People seem to have no idea what they should and should not expect from the vaccine.

This was always going to happen. This is how viruses behave.

If everyone was vaccinated we wouldn't have 0 cases. We'd have cases and chances are we'd only hear about it if it was severe. A certain fraction would be asymptomatic so we would not have any prompt to test people except for the sake of testing. Likewise, for all these months, several people were probably asymptomatic or mild and thought nothing about it. They probably walked around with a runny nose telling people they have allergies or thinking it was just a regular cold. For most people with mild symptoms, it doesn't feel any different from a regular cold or flu.

The numbers seem drastic because we are testing more.

Also, the standard way for testing for COVID is highly inaccurate, having a high rate of false positives and false negatives (up to 30%). If we treated other medical tests the way we treat the COVID test, had they had the same level of accuracy, we'd know basically nothing. The chances of you knowing if a woman was pregnant with just one test would be as good as visiting the fortune teller. Diabetics would be crashing all the time.

The standard of thought and care COVID has been given has been unprecedented in the medical and academic field. People should be losing their jobs and licenses but instead they are embolden by the witless masses screaming to be saved. Everyone is so afraid of being burned in the pot they are thinking about the fire underneath. When things are most uncertain, that's actually when you need to slow down more and think. You make more mistakes when you panic and rush.

Do you even know the definition of inoculation?

No vaccine site promises you won't get it. You can actually go read it.

You are actually the one who turned off your brain for a year.

I do dumbo, you clearly don’t

            Definition of inoculation
1 : the act or process or an instance of inoculating
especially : the introduction of a pathogen or antigen into a living organism to stimulate the production of antibodies

            Now sit down.

@ vip. If you were read at all you would have read that persons who are fully vaccinated still got infected by COVID. So please leave the unvaccinated alone. If you're vaccinated then you shouldn't worry about the unvaccinated because they pose no risk to you.

But the problem started when that Jack donkey of a minister (CM) allowed vaccinated persons entering the country without being tested and going without being in placed quarantine. Being vaccinated doesn't mean you're immune to catching the virus. Take for example we received the flu shot every year and still catches the flu. We get shots for mumps, measles, hepatitis B chicken pox and still we catch them. So I beg of you people to please stop with this nonsense.

.... leave the unvaccinated alone...More than 50% of the unvaccinated contribute to the count, effect from the illness is more likely to obliterate the eeconomy, overload the hospital .the morgue,we have no crematorium,Cuba is being threatened by Irma so help from there is questionable, recovery from Covid and variants leavedisabilities in some...we gambled but the vaccinated won and the unvaccinated loss and that loss could be the demise of our VI as we knew it and in a bad way.

once the borders were open the covid flood gates can along we were good up until May 2021

can our medical facility deal with this matter under normal conditions we have to send persons overseas for treatment

respiratory malfunctions are very serious and that is covid 19

the ideal time for isolation is 14 days and this should be the standard

it's been scientifically documented that the 2nd shot provides optimal protection when given 12 weeks after the 1st shot and that protection decreases when 2nd shot is given in less than 6 weeks.

why is the govt giving 2nd shot in 4 weeks??
    • Doctor Know (06/07/2021, 18:32) Like (0) Dislike (2) Reply
Because two shots four weeks apart give better protection than a single shot.
