BAUGHERS BAY, Tortola, VI – The Virgin Islands is back to 1 active COVID-19 case, confirmed in an incoming passenger on day 4 of mandatory quarantine, according to Minister for Health and Social Development, Hon Carvin Malone (AL) on VIP’s Let's Talk radio programme on ZBVI 780AM on March 2, 2021.

Hon Malone also noted that the single new active case brings VI's total recorded cases to 154 with 152 recoveries and one death; however, he remarked that more cases were expected.

“People are travelling to and fro and this was a person caught on entry and on the fourth day of testing… so our protocols have worked well,” Hon Malone said.

“But when you look through the region, we have to be thankful that the people of the Virgin Islands have responded well to the protocols so that we can not only save lives, but livelihoods,” he said.

VI's 2nd Vaccine batch delayed – Hon Malone

While Hon Malone also revealed the second shipment of Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccines scheduled to arrive on March 3, 2021, have been delayed until March 17, 2021; he said those already vaccinated with a first dose, will be on reserve for a second.

How the heck someone could take a test before coming in and four days later they have the virus and then in no time they recover? This is a bunch of lies. I don't believe it one bit. I believe it is a simple cold or sinus problem. What are you all giving them to recover so fast? If you all are healing them why the need for that poisonous vaccine? LIES! LIES! AND MORE LIES! I surely will not buy into those lies.

I agree with you. The people come from the cold country snorting and wheezing and they say they got COVID. Look how WHO and CDC can control the world while Fauci and Gates making 30 billion on vaccine. This world in trouble, according to a activist singer, the DOG. What makes it bad is our leaders are buying into the lies of WHO and the CDC.

More and more babies are diagnosed with ailments specifically cancer-related, autism, etc. so could vaccines be attributed to this unaware to many

How many seniors were given the opportunity to get vaccinated. What provision was made for seniors. Maybe no one cares.

@ seniors, our history books does not need to be vaccinated. We need them to give us wisdom and knowledge. They were shocked after Irma, after not seeing such devastation since the gale that send house roofs over to St. John. Let them enjoy the rest of their NAYURAL LIFE!
