VG woman charged for Assault & Criminal Trespassing

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- A woman from Virgin Gorda has found herself in hot water after she allegedly committed Assault Occasioning Actual Bodily Harm and Criminal Trespassing.

According to the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force in its Arrest Blotter, on Thursday, January 23, 2020, police arrested and charged Chery-Ann Flax of South Valley, Virgin Gorda for the offences.

Flax was granted bail in the amount of $5,000 and is to appear before the Magistrate’s Court on March 18, 2020.

Assault Occassioning Actual Bodily Harm

On 22-01-20 at 1630hrs, Police arrested and charged Marcus Lloyd, 48 of Harrigan Estate for Assault Occasioning Actual Bodily Harm. He was granted bail in the amount of $10,000 with one signed surety to appear before the Magistrate’s Court on 3-04-20 at 0900hrs.

Failure to Declare Monies to Customs

On 24-01-20 at 1646hrs, Police arrested and charged Luis Peguero Veloz, 38 of Horse Path for Failing to Declare Monies to Customs. He was granted bail in the amount of $20,000 to appear before the Magistrate’s Court on 10-02-20 at 0900hrs.

Driving Without Driver’s License

On 20-01-20 at 1700hrs, Police arrested and charged Ryan Alfred, 25 of Hodge’s Creek for Driving an Uninsured Vehicle, Driving an Unlicensed Vehicle, Driving an Unregistered Vehicle and Using a License Plate on a Vehicle to Which it has not been Assigned. He was granted bail in the amount of $5,000 with one signed surety to appear before the Magistrate’s Court on 25-03-20 at 0900hrs.

On 21-01-20 at 1305hrs, Police arrested and charged Karvin Robin, 22 of Purcell Estate for 2 counts of Driving without Driver’s License, 2 counts of Driving When not Covered by Insurance, Giving False Name to Police, Failing to Comply with a Lawful Order, Failing to Comply with a Stop Signal and Riding without Crash Helmet. He was granted bail in the amount of $3,000 to appear before the Magistrate’s Court on 3-03-20 at 0900hrs.

Driving Unregistered Vehicle

On 25-01-20 at 1020hrs, Police arrested and charged Weston Stephens, 54 of Greenland for Driving an Unregistered Vehicle, Driving an Unlicensed Vehicle and Driving an Uninsured Vehicle. He was granted bail in the amount of $5,000 to appear before the Magistrate’s Court on 25-03-20 at 0900hrs.

    The truth will be told there is more to the story..Karma is a bitch....you see she was the same young lady who help the victim mother in crisis but yall must remember God don't sleep. When the mother of the victim was beating up on her and she went police nobody helped her the child is a problem heard after she beat the woman up and her daughter she bragged about it all over school...she know the woman aaint assault her but when u rude and disrespectful and besides they said the one who made the complaint wasnt even there...
