Vehicles collide head-on @ Pockwood Pond

POCKWOOD POND, Tortola, VI- A vehicular accident has occurred at Pockwood Pond on the main island of Tortola.

According to reports reaching this news site, two vehicles slammed headon while negotiating a turn this morning, June 30, 2017.

Both vehicles were damaged; however, it is yet unclear whether anyone has been injured.

The territory continues to be rocked by traffic accidents, some of which have caused serious injuries.

    Don't understand. It looks like the one heading west was way over on the other side of the road. It's a two lane, stay to hell on your lane and all this irresponsible nonsense will be avoided. It is also possible that he was overtaken close to the corner as well.

    If drivers would only respect the road and other drivers on the road, maybe that would cut down on so much accidents on the road.

    There is a serious problem with drivers here on Tortola. I think that we have to begin educating the tutors because it can't be all these drivers fault. I beginning to believe these drivers are only portraying what they have been taught. We need to call in all those tutors and have workshop. They are failing in their teaching. We have to arrest this problem. There are too many killers on the road. The traffic will have to be more tighter on issuing these drivers license. Too many accidents are taking place. This place is becoming to be known the place where people can't drive.
