Vehicle ploughs into transformer @ Pockwood Pond

POCKWOOD POND, Tortola, VI- Workers of a gas station were said to have been given a slight scare after a vehicle ploughed into a transformer at Pockwood Pond, Tortola on June 10, 2017.
The incident reportedly occurred around 8:00 PM in the proximity of the Delta Gas Station.
It is not clear if there were any serious injuries and what were the circumstances surrounding the driver losing control of his vehicle and slamming into the transformer.
The transformer was uprooted and ended up in a ditch.
Reports reaching this news site were that a fire had started as a result of the incident; however, these reports could not be confirmed.
Chief Fire Officer Zebalon A. McLean said his officers did not receive any report of a fire at Pockwood Pond last evening.
