A lot more of this will happen if the government doesn't move fast to put street lights on these dark roads.

I pray all is well with the occupant.

Hope everything turns out well.Street lights and road barriers much needed in that area.

Careless driving is the result of this accident. It has nothing to do with lighting nor barriers.

We do not want to wait until we have one due to those other conditions. We still need those conditions fixed!!!

Why are you being so STUPID!!!! How do you know it was careless driving? Careless driving or not, there is a need for more lighting on that road and safety barriers. I almost lost control on that same stretch of road with my 2 year old when a animal dart out of no where in front of my car. So tell me, if I had gone off the road into the sea with my 2 year old child would you have said I was a careless driver also?

Yes.. Instead you made the choice to be a careful driver. Precious cargo was onboard.

A small animal dart across the road and you put you and your child at risk? I would have ran that animal down flat like nobody business.....child services need to come for you if you cant think on your feet in those situations.

I agree with you. Another vehicle overtook mine on that hill on Saturday evening going east. The driver then stopped at CTL in Fish Bay. He/She took that risk and saved less than 5 seconds.

@ Schleps, I totally agree with you, a lot of them will dislike your post but you are right, that area have guard rails and street lights, the vehicle seems to have climb the rails so it’s more like reckless driving to me. Hope the occupants will be ok.

Think for a moment and use your pea brain for a sec. Stop assuming and comming to the conclusion that every accident is due to reckless driving. Where you there to witness what happened? That is the problem with some of you people, you hear something and you jump to the negative talk/gossip. Stop the foolishness already. I hope you and SCHLEPS DON'T EVER HAVE TO EXPERIENCE SOMETHING LIKE THAT. YOU HAVE A WONDERFUL DAY.

@@jaigon, am so glad your brain is big and mighty. Thank God for that. But listen, am very well familiar with that area as I swim at the little beach there almost every morning, I make it my business to visit the site today and from what I saw, it will appear to me that the vehicle was traveling eastward which means it should have been traveling on the hill side but seems like it travelled across the other side of the road, knocked the guard rail clean out of place and ended up in the sea, so you can tell me if a vehicle traveling at moderate speed could have done that. Although your brain so big you still not clear on what I said because I had never for one moment suggest that every accident is due to reckless driving. Am only making my point based upon what I saw so you go and take a back seat.

Just plain reckless driving. There is one on the West End Road that thinks he should not slow down for nothing. Twice he overtake around the corner by the Bluff and narrowly miss head on collision with me.

I know they were scared out of their wits. This kind of accident is so serious and can be deadly. I hope that they both make it okay. Please slow down everyone...please.
