Vehicle cuts down utility pole @ Prospect Reef

PROSPECT REEF, Tortola, VI- A man is said to be receiving treatment at Peebles Hospital after the vehicle he was driving slammed into a utility pole at Prospect Reef this morning, May 8, 2016.

The circumstances surrounding the accident are not clear but the rental SUV took down a utility pole as well as the Tortola Auto Group (TAG) signage at the roadside.

The accident took place sometime after 8am.

According to reports, the driver of the vehicle was taken to hospital by a private citizen.

Police are on the scene conducting their investigations.

          There is pot holes but if you drive with common sense you will be ok. I'm going to say it, he had to be speeding to take out the pole like that.
