UPDATE: Wayne Stoutt Jr charged & granted bail in illegal gun find

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – Police have charged the man arrested over the weekend in relation to an illegal gun find at a Great Mountain home. The man has since been granted bail and released.

A press release issued by the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force states as follows: Police charged one man with unlawful possession of a firearm and unlawful possession of ammunition over the weekend after a search warrant carried out on his parent’s home resulted in the seizure of a 45 caliber handgun and seven rounds of ammunition.

Wayne Stoutt, Jr., 26 of Great Mountain, was granted bail. Police continue their investigations. This is the sixth firearm recovered for 2014.

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – Police have arrested a resident of Great Mountain, Tortola following the discovery of an illegal weapon and ammunition over the weekend.

Information reaching Virgin Islands News Online is that Officers of the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force conducted a raid in the early hours of Saturday, April 26, 2014 and discovered a Glock 45 at the resident’s home.

The person was later arrested and taken into custody. It remains unclear whether the person has since been charged.

    Any person, besides the police, who have a gun is up to no good. If these criminals did not have guns, people could live freely and enjoy life the way it was meant to be. He is guilty guilty guilty as are so many more who take away our right to happiness. Business and home owners would not need guns for protection of their property if it weren't for the criminals.

    Every thing is political. You can carry donkey to a well to drink but you can make it drink. The Govrnement cant give you a mine. You do that your self.You control your self not the government of the day.How many laws they have in place we need to trane and teach our children to be law abiding and hope and orey they listen.
