UPDATE: Wakima Lettsome denied bail!

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – Wakima Lettsome, the alleged trigger man in the Crabbe Lot area shooting incident nine days ago that resulted in the victim sustaining a bullet wound to his abdomen was denied bail when he appeared in the Magistrate's Court today, November 28, 2011.

Lettsome is charged with grievous bodily harm and attempted murder.

It is alleged that Lettsome shot 27-year-old Johnathan Colaire around 10:30 pm on Friday November 18, 2011. Luckily, the injury was not life threatening.

The defendant was remanded to prison and has to return on January 11, 2012 for a reporting date. He is represented by Mary Lou-Creque.

    i wonder have you all looked at the facts some say he's a terror and some said he is very professional well somebody lying yes he has family issues and yes he has a temper but he will never trouble you unless you trouble him first he would rather help than to destroy and thats a factand if you laim to know him you know that is the truth....

    if you people cant read the police nor DPP has any evidence it was mr lettsome they have no gun /no bullet cases or DNA just a ststement of the VC and a unsigned witness statement and he the defendant has not said anything yet so it is a win for Ms. Creque! but why so much haters when your down it seems like tortolian nature to continue hitting to keep you down or get revenge such is life...
