@ Everyone. There is an old say that one bad apple spoil the whole bunch and when I read the comments here, I concur that it’s a true saying because all Vincentians here are being branded the same. I am a Vincentian National living in the BVI for over 20 years and seeing some of the nonsense that Vincentians have done here over the years I really cannot fault anyone for the negative comments but what I will say, every place on the face of this earth has its bad apples so to brand every Vincentian as the same is overstretched. There are also wicked people in the BVI but most BV-ISLANDERS I have came into contact with are genuinely decent people. I will never condone any wicked/evil act on the part of any Vincentian but be reminded that none of our backyard are spotless. Most Vincentians are some of the friendliest people you will ever meet, they don’t have to know you to welcome you and treat you good, so the act of the few bad ones, should not reflect negatively on the majority.

It is not a laughing matter but how in the world could that model of a woman be true. Was she separated from husband? How this murderer got into her sheet? While I sympathize with the family and feel it deeply for such senseless act I cannot concur with that model of a woman bit. This was no stranger who committed the act so her loan actions cause this model bit to fall flat on its face. Just keeping it honest and real.

So sad to hear. Only God alone can give life, hence He and He alone should be able to take it. If what I am hearing is true about the nationality of the person who did it, this is why we need to vet who is coming into our country and to whom we want to give status. Only savages would do such things.
  • can youal stop (27/05/2019, 15:38) Like (99) Dislike (2) Reply
Here we are, in the midst of grief, fighting about nationalities. From the day God made man, we have been killing each other. From the Edenians when Cain killed Abel. No matter where a person's navel string is planted, it does not give him or her the right to take a life. Tolians killed, every Caribbean, U.S, European, African, and every nationality under the sun have killed. Let us stop it. No island is better than the next. The same ship outta Africa drop all of our ancestors off and kept going.

Let us not miss the point that a human life has been snatched away. Not a mosquito. Somebody's mothers, sister, aunt, colleague, friend. She meant something to many others. I did not know her, but my heart goes out to all who she was closest to. It has to be a hurtful time for youall. My deepest sympathy.

BVI people, regardless of where each of us hail from, let us be kind to each other. If you have information about the murder please call the police hotline or get your message to the police commissioner. No government hold the will, brain or thought of any individual, and we are each responsible for our own actions. Whoever did this is responsible. Not the country, the person.

I don’t understand what is taking so long for the government to give Vincentians visa to come to the BVI. So many countries have visa restrictions and they have done half of what these vincy men are doing. What is going on? Is it because the two governments have a close relationship or the Vincentians are so important to the bvi? I hope the premier is looking into this, very unfair.

Let’s dust off the book of all women murdered in the BVI by a Vincy! And their population high in the BVI. Who ain’t try done off a woman then kill themself either get away with it and still walking free cause let’s not forget a bunch of them on the RVIPF. God bless the few that survived attempted murder. Killing woman is a sport in their country just check them out at their very own carnival parade! And we who have been here living a humble life must accept that they ain’t going CONTINUE to let this type of terror of reign in BVI?? Close the door on them!! Man and woman cause all the Vincy woman them doing is trying to fight off local women for man and husbands that arent theirs. A set of problematic and highly murder prone people!

You said it very well! They come here and they have destroyed families (Vincy Women) and the men walk around like they own the place! Not all of them are bad, but the masses of them that are here are terrible! To be honest I think their own country don’t want them and the BVI need to start deporting them once they fall in any of these categories: sleeping with other people husbands/ wives, making children with other people husbands, spreading propaganda and being malicious towards others, stealing from employers and their neighbors, assault and murder! Once these rules apply to this belonger initiative you will see how small the vincy populace will become in this place! And I intend to make my voice heard and these things be considered for naturalization and belonger status! Sickening now!

Not all Vincentian men are savages. Some are very fine people. But if you read the news on a regular basis, you’ll see that they have a higher probability to commit violence against women, including our own Virgin Islander women. So you all can talk whatever you want about anybody can commit a crime. Yes anyone can, but the numbers speak for themselves. If I was a woman, I would have serious reservations about dating a Vincentian man. Regardless of the situation, him nor any of the other savages had the right to kill or maim any woman who wanted out of a relationship with them...

They are good and bad people from anywhere, but the facts remain, this is the 2nd murder of a BVI woman by a Vincentian male, and the murder attempt of a woman by a Vincentian male but she survived (the lady who was severely chopped). Yes, we don't know what will drive a person to do such things, but facts remain the same, these crimes were created by Vincentians. Don't want to label and entire population of people because again, we don't know what drives a person to commit such crimes. People don't just kill in this manner because they want too, it is usually a jealous rage, and as women we sometimes confuse jealously for love. As women we need to be more open to these flags, and report anything threatening and not just laugh stuff off. Where there is smoke there is usually fire. Lord, I pray for the family of this lady and hopefully one day they can find some peace. This is so sad.
