Sorry this had to happen, but it was coming, each and every night a set will gather at Speedy's Corner, and will race from there up the road to go to the Olde Yard Inn,and around a corner they have to go with that great speed, but because of their carelessness, they will learn the hard way.

Not Again! Hope the young man does not have life long problems. I do not want drag racing either because we will have more young dead youths. Fast cars and more powerful motorcycles are a bad idea here in the BVI.

Do not blast the police about being late. The onlookers were so busy looking news that they called the police ten minutes after the accident occurred and they arrive five minutes after the call.

For God's sake is everything political? Seen as it seems it always is, can i ask a question? Who is the Minister responsible for that district? How long was he representing that district? What was his former position apart from being the Minister for that district? Im not one for all the bs associated for politics, but why point fingers at one party when the other was at the helm for such a long time, with the same cries and concerns and nothing was done? Im yet again lost.

Another accident. When will these young people learn from others mistakes. The traffic department and the police need to hold seminars for these young people and teach them road safety when using these bikes. A motorcycle is a vehicle and must be treated as such. Just as other motor vehicle drivers required testing before obtaining a driver's license, motorcycle riders must go through the same procedures to obtain a license for riding a bike.

Today, right at the East End Police station a young guy sped past without helmet or regard for the stop sign there. No cops, no sign of cops, where are the cops? WTF? They are not even doing foot patrol. What I did see at fine food was a police officer getting out of a car with her grand baby while still in uniform. Was she on or off duty???? Doesn't matter because she wouldn't care.

All the district have some one representing them except the 9th district they are in the stone age I guess when one of those big man in the government fall sick in vg or die god forbid only then they would see the value of a mini hospital

Government is taking money and spending on all kinds of unnecessary things. Ask first if the Police Department, and the Fire Department Officers are equipped with first response survival kits, and is there a trained unit in each department? BVI is behind the eighth ball when it comes to doing what is more important. We don't have Leaders with vision. We just have a bunch of greedy, selfish and self centered bandits at the helm.

I don't know any of the parties involved but everyone here seems to be blaming the scooter rider without knowing what actually happened. Common sense should make you ask why is the jeep on the wrong side of the road, but I guess gathering facts isn't as much fun as blind smack talking *smh*
